Lunar Noonar Loops

A half double crochet (hdc) is a stitch in between a single crochet and a double crochet – it’s slightly taller than a single crochet, but shorter than a double crochet.

Here is how to half double crochet with step-by-step instructions:

1. First, yarn over to add a loop to your hook. The arrow indicates the next stitch

2. Insert the hook under both loops of the next stitch

3. Yarn over and pull it back through both loops of the stitch to add a loop to your hook

4. There should now be three loops on your hook

5. Yarn over, then pull it all the way through the 3 loops on the hook

6. You should now only have one loop on your hook. This is a hdc !! ✧｡٩(ˊᗜˋ )و✧*｡

Repeat steps 1-6 for as many half double crochets needed for the pattern!
